I CAN'T NOT MAKE GAMES.

I have enough lockerspace to hold an episode of Friends.

"We'll make a toast to absent friends and better days,
To remembering and being remembered as brave
And not as a bunch of whining jerks!

Don't lose your nerve.
Do not go straight
You must testify
(or I'm going to come to your house and punch you in the mouth)
cause CLOWNS MUST STAND."

- TW/IFS, "All The World Is A Stage Dive"
Iron Gaia
As the only human awake on board a space station controlled by an insane AI with delusions of deification, you must unravel the mystery of your own identity and discover: "What is the Iron Gaia?"

So, is Lines End still in production?

I'll do it. In nine lines:

ABL is a moody, emotionally involving (but never whiny, self indulgent, or emo) science fiction epic involving extraordinarily well characterized, likable human beings who are practically bursting at the seams with personality. In addition to branching paths allowing for variable gameplay and story development, and a fairly grand plot gradually revealed through a series of Tarantino-esque flashbacks and flash forwards and perspective jumps, its gameplay, while initially totally nominal for an RM2k game, soon becomes almost freakishly addictive. Talan's "Absorb Aura" ability, my favorite skill/mechanic in any RM game, allows him to "steal" skills, not from other enemies, but from those enemies' auras. If he steals a skill enough, he learns it permanently. With five auras, and ten skills to each aura, this allows you a wide variety of ways to customize Talan's development; other characters have similarly innovative skill learning systems. With its compelling storyline, brilliantly realized world, and addictive gameplay, A Blurred Line is my pick for best motherfucking rpg maker game ever, motherfuckers.

Clest Elnith here =^.^=

OMFG! WELCOME! MY FAVORITE PERSON! AND HE'S HERE! HURRAY.

I am very happy to see you. I missed you. A lot.

Dungeons and Dragons [RMN Game Group]

Got it, I'll scratch Tiefling from the list.

So I'll be playing a Dragonborn, Eladrin, or human Wizard or Warlock.

I am disappointed in how few options a first level Wizard has compared to a first level Wizard in 3.0/3.5. Also I miss bonus spells form surpassingly high attributes.

Nick, do you mind if we roll our stats, btw, or do you want us to use the confusing point buy system/the standard array? If it's the latter, that's fine, really. It's what I'm assuming.

Questions you always wanted to ask other members, but felt too lazy or awkward to do so.

NO GIRL-LOVERS ALLOWED

So are cupcakes.

EDIT: THIS THREAD IS GAY.

What are you upset or worried about?

Welcome to real life. ;D

Seriously, that sucks, I just felt like saying something brazenly unsympathetic like you often do, but in reality, I can't help but feel for you.

Anyway, what am I upset and worried about right now? EVERYTHING.
Not surprising, since I'm hopelessly neurotic AND everything sucks.

What upcoming games are you looking forward to?

LAXIUS FORCE

Laxius Force (Laxius Power IV) released - priced at $15

How are you going to make custom systems without using custom graphics? Message boxes? Not very neat IMO.

Anyone who thinks a show-picture CMS is INNATELY some kind of great asset needs to wake the fuck up. Most of the time those POS front-end menu systems are broken, ugly, annoy me by not letting me do what the DMS does, and does nothing the DMS doesn't do. And I have made games with fifty-bajillion "custom systems" without any custom graphics, because almost all of those custom systems were built into the "default battle system". Anyway, that said, MENUS AND SHIT are not the kind of graphics that cause copyright issues anyway, I hope. I don't even know where we're going with this any more.

Final thoughts, from me anyway, in no particular order:

Laxius Power sucks.

It is possible for an RM Game to not suck, to in fact UNSUCK (blow?) so hard that it worth buying. It would help the community if everyone kept an open mind about this kind of shit.

Okay fine I concede that tons of shitty fiction is published.

And tons of shitty RM games are sold.

And most RM games whether free or sold are shitty.

And most RM games are never finished.

But I would still buy a game of the caliber of a modern-day ABL, Three The Hard Way, The Way, Wilfred The Hero, Grave Spirit, The Frozen World, the ten other good ones I'm forgetting, even if it had RTP graphics. How would I know whether it was good enough to buy? Hopefully the demo. That's all I was saying.

The end,

Dungeons and Dragons [RMN Game Group]

Shadowtext, what class are you playing?

Other guys, what races are you?

Just for the sake of priority diversity, I'm trying to narrow my pick down to something that no one is playing.

And no, god no, I don't want the Barbarian. I hate everything about that class.

P.S.
Is voice-chat an absolute necessity? I don't have a microphone now (there is a really shitty one I might be able to find, but it sucks AND is lost) and am quite broke.

The Mirror Lied

Actually, I wasn't being sarcastic at all or even hyberbolic. I wish the internet wasn't so god damn cynical as a medium.
